When a man is in the pulpit, he is not there as a representative of himself but of God
He is speaking for God
Many modern preachers coil away from this
When modern preachers talk about themselves on stage we think they are humble
But when preachers preach as though they themselves are irrelevant we think they are proud

About C.S. Lewis’ view of science and scientism
A number of Lewis scholars wrote many essays for this
These essays are showing how Lewis’ prophetic insights decades before are extremely relevant today
All the essays are superb
Lewis is too often thought of as an avuncular storyteller but should actually be thought of as a fiery prophet
