Deep dives
I do have some favorite holiday decorations from my childhood that I still love and use today.
One of them is a set of colorful and whimsical ornaments that we hang on the tree every year. They were handed down from my grandparents and have a nostalgic charm that brings back fond memories of past Christmas celebrations.
Another decoration I cherish is a handmade wreath that my mother made many years ago.
It's adorned with ribbons, pine cones, and other natural elements, and it adds a special touch to our front door each holiday season.
As for decorations that I once loved but now find too tacky, I can't think of any specific items.
However, as I've grown older, my tastes and style preferences have evolved, and I find myself gravitating towards more elegant and modern decorations rather than those with overly bright colors or excessive glitter. Overall, decorating for the holidays is a wonderful way to create a festive atmosphere and evoke memories of past celebrations.
Apple TV Plus and Holiday Traditions
Apple TV Plus has gained recognition for its quality shows, defying initial doubts from the Apple community. The service improved over time, and some would argue that its original content is superior to Netflix's. Additionally, engaging in holiday traditions such as decorating the tree, making eggnog, and baking gingerbread houses have become cherished activities for many.
Belief in Santa and Holiday Cookies
Believing in Santa Claus and the excitement of receiving presents from him remains a memorable childhood experience for many. While some families have added creative touches to uphold the magic of Santa, others have embraced the reality and continued to enjoy the tradition. Decorating holiday cookies, whether frosted or unfrosted, adds a delightful festive touch to the season.
