Jim believe that, despite the volatile moves this week in the long end of the yield curve, yields remains softer than perceived. In fact, Jim think the move in yields are simply following the natural rate. This means a true restrictive policy means interest rates much higher than they are now.

We discuss the foundations of his thesis and why he believe the economy of now and the near future will be nothing like what we had in 2019, prior to Covid.
