He is running for the open seat in TX-21, spanning from parts of Austin and San Antonio.

Chip has some unique and thoughtful ideas that most candidates don’t typically articulate. Between not caring about re-election, using a smart inside-outside game to give voice to the forgotten man and the forgotten issues, and a focus on systemically reforming the role of Congress relative to the other branches, Chip is ready to hit the ground running.
