We spoke to volunteer cat rescuers Julie, Aqyla, and Wati about cat abandonment and the new Cat Management Framework in Singapore. Starting September 1, 2024, the framework requires licensing and microchipping for pet cats, with limits of two cats per HDB flat and three per private residence. They also shared sterilising cats, cat abuse cases, care guidelines, and their fundraising efforts for special needs cats.
