Born and raised on a dairy farm in New Zealand, Kendrick played his rugby with Southland, the Highlanders, Bay of Plenty, a short stint with the Chiefs, and also represented New Zealand in Sevens.
He moved to France in 2014 to play for Lyon and has been part of their coaching staff since 2016.
