Jesus wanted the disciples to understand what leadership looked like in His Kingdom. It was serving the needs of those around you - and not being so consumed with yourself. Others may hold their position or authority over people and use and manipulate people for their own benefit - but Jesus said that is NOT HOW HIS FOLLOWERS SHOULD BE!
