One harrowing experience with an abusive partner taught her the importance of boundaries and listening to her gut instincts.
Sasha's journey took a significant turn when she became a mother. She describes the transformation of becoming accountable for another human being, and how it changed her life. Despite societal norms and challenges, Sasha pursued her dream of becoming a mother again focusing on what was possible rather than what was easy and adopted roughly 18 months ago. Sasha faced the challenges of adoption head-on without rose-tinted glasses.
