Hurricanes typically cause devastation along the coast, not 3 hours inland within the Northwestern mountains of North Carolina. However, that's exactly what Hurricane Helene did to the town of Asheville, NC and its surrounding community.

I asked Jane Rakes (General Manager) and Clara Stroud (Everyday Athlete Physical Therapy and Head of Trainer Development) to share with me what it's been like running a business in a town that has been absolutely devastated.

The GoFundMe they established is asking for donations that will go directly to the members of MAD AVL who lost homes, businesses, cars and much more during this historic flood.
