Maxine is a retired teacher. She also holds a Masters in Education and is the author of ‘Don’t Poo In The Pudding Bowl; Anecdotes From 13,414 Days Of Teaching’ She is based in Sheffield, UK.

Through a variety of short stories, Maxine tells us why her nickname is ‘The Terminator’, how her school was terrorised by a phantom crapper and why children really shouldn’t try and Kayak on concrete.

In amongst the light hearted anecdotes, Maxine shares her opinions on tough issues including why teachers must remember why trust and care are always top priority. Why trips should be a part of every curriculum and how, as black woman in education she has a responsibility to be a positive role model.
