This little modal verb phrase has been popping up a lot in my classes and teaching so I want to teach it to you. This is a common confusion with the verb Suppose (which is different) and it is VERY common mistake. Students say "It's supposed that" instead of "to be supposed to" in the correct form.
I go through and give you 3 clear examples of how we use this structure in the real life to talk about expectation and requirement in the present and past tense.
I really encourage you to think about your own sentences with "to be supposed to" after listening to this episode and to start using them when you speak English.
