The Tricky Merchant and the Woodcutter

A traveling merchant, known for his deceptive ways, tricks the woodcutter into selling his cart, oxen, and firewood for a meager price. Despite the woodcutter's loss, his quick-thinking seamstress wife devises a plan to outsmart the merchant. She sells her handmade clothing to the merchant, agreeing to two handfuls of coins for all garments. When the merchant tries to outwit her by offering large silver coins, she uses her sewing shears to demand his hands. In the end, she regains the cart and oxen, teaching the merchant a lesson in fairness.
