Wilf Nelson is currently at the Centre for Human Brain Health at University of Birmingham working on his PhD in multi-system regulation mechanics with Dr. Stephen Mayhew. They focus on how the brain regulates activation and inhibition across the cortex with our current studies looking into single vs dual sensory stimulation.
Wilf also runs a popular podcast called Water Cooler Neuroscience, in which he interviews experts in various areas of neuroscience research and helps translate complicated neuroscience concepts into material that laypeople can understand and learn about how the brain works.
