Sonny Vu is CEO of Arevo, an advanced manufacturing technology company that uses 3D printing to automate the production of carbon fiber composite products. He is also founder of Alabaster, an investor focused on early stage companies with technology based on scientific breakthroughs that have the potential for creating positive, planet-level impact. Recurring themes include alternative protein production, new materials, and novel semiconductors. Previously he founded and sold a number of technology companies, including most recently selling Misfit to Fossil (NASDAQ:FOSL) for $260m.
