Deep dives
Cybersecurity Challenges and Evolving Solutions
Enterprises face significant cybersecurity challenges as traditional security tools, such as firewalls and VPNs, prove inadequate against the increasing frequency of attacks, including a notable rise in ransomware incidents. The emergence of sophisticated AI tools has made it easier for bad actors to exploit vulnerabilities, emphasizing the need for a paradigm shift in how organizations approach security. Zscaler's Zero Trust Security model addresses these vulnerabilities by hiding the attack surface, ensuring that applications and IPs are not visible to potential hackers. This approach includes continuous verification of requests based on user identity and context, thereby minimizing the risk of lateral movement within networks.
