59. Learning Before Earning: Tiffany Curry’s Real Estate Journey
Tiffany Curry’s grandmother taught her how to read before she even went to kindergarten. She instilled in Tiffany the life lesson that if Tiffany’s education was where it needed to be and if she knew what she needed to know, she would never be inferior in any room. Tiffany learned the lesson well—she now owns the first 100% black-owned Berkshire Hathaway franchise, and she is one of the most powerful real estate executives in the US.
Tiffany joins us today to share her life story and business strategies. We talk about learning before earning and what’s needed to create a good learning environment. We also talk about the importance of confidence and putting people, not money, first.
Finally, we dive into the intricacies of owning a franchise. She explains her decisions around office space, managing a team, and growing globally.
Tiffany is one of the most well-educated, thoughtful real estate professionals you’ll ever come across. Enjoy this interview.
