Prologue
Annemarie Shrouder (she, her) works in the field of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. She is Canadian and biracial, which she explains informs her work. While lovingly calling herself the can opener, Annemarie helps organizations create healthy workplace communities using her ABCs of inclusion, her signature methodology. She has written diversity strategies for several organizations and an LGBTQ engagement strategy for CAMH. Annemarie authored Being Brown in a Black and White World. She facilitates workshops, speaks, and consults. Annemarie is the Founder of ASI.
