"There are two things I value the most ...love & laughter" - Navid Shahzad - Episode 34
A woman who takes great pride in her city Lahore, to her sense of wonder and curiosity, to her new and old ventures and her ancestry. Whether it has been appearing in front of the public delivering wit and laughter or dealing with teachers and cirriculums to establish better teaching methods, whether it is English or Punjabi, whether it is silence or narratives - our guest - Navid Shahzad delivers all. Actor, Author, Public speaker, Educationist - this woman openly professes her romance for the line, her love for self awareness and development and her deep bond with silence.
She has recently finished a book called "Aslan's Roar" which means the Lion's Roar - marvelling over the rise of Turkish media, appreciating their deep love for their religion and culture and how beautifully they have incorporated their mythology and values in drama serials. She also makes an attempt to strike a balance between modernity and Islam and how they can co-exist in this world of extremism and other false 'isms'
