Scott Shipley is a 3-time Olympian and 5-time world champion paddler. He also is the founder and president of S2O Design, which specializes in river engineering, whitewater park design and the development of community-focused river parks. Shipley spoke to the Talking Under Water hosts about how he approaches these developments while also taking into account community needs, native fish and wildlife, water use and energy efficiency.
