

Why won’t Egypt let Palestinians cross the border?
The war between Israel and Hamas has been raging for five months, more than 30,000 people have been killed, and it’s spawned a massive refugee crisis. Currently 1.4 million Palestinians who have fled to the southern city of Rafah on the border with Egypt are hemmed in.
So are any of Palestine’s neighbouring countries willing to accept them? And if not, why not?
