On OneUp this week we explore the remarkable journey of Vira Paky, a first-generation Congolese-New Zealander with a strong passion for equity and progress. Her interests in feminism, global politics, race, and African identity have led her down a purposeful path that I had the pleasure of discussing with her.
Vira, an award-winning poet and community activist, discusses how creativity, storytelling, and advocacy work together to create impact. She shares insights on embracing imperfection, finding energy in advocacy, aligning interests with meaningful work, and practical strategies for accelerating change.
