He then talks about his homeland, Egypt, and why everyone should spend time there. Tarek then shares the story of how he met Matt’s sister at a Tibetan monastery in Nepal. Tarek then takes us on his journey over the last 4 years building Nomads Giving Back, and reflects on navigating the complex power dynamics of international volunteer work. He then shares his experience in Bali, including during the pandemic, and how that led to the launching of Nomads Skillshare.
