MJ is a former international athlete, having represented The Philippines at both Basketball and Rugby. She is the Assistant Director of Sport at British School Manila.

MJ shares her unique journey into the teaching profession and describes her transition from athlete to educator. She explores the impact moving to The Philippines had on her identity and how, as a filipino born and raised in the USA, this created cultural and social challenges.
