Dr. G Neil Martin is Hon. Professor of Psychology and former Head of Psychology at Regent's University London. He is a Life Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts and an associate of the Recreational Fear Lab at Aarhus University. He has written around 13 books including the introductory textbook Psychology (Pearson Education, now in its 7th edition), Psychology- A Beginner's Guide (Oneworld), The Neuropsychology of Smell & Taste (Taylor & Francis), and his newest book is called The Psychology of Comedy.
