Deep dives
Byron Page: Disappearance of a Promising Teen
Byron Page, a talented and ambitious 17-year-old, mysteriously goes missing after mentioning a visit to a music and video store. Despite his outstanding academic and extracurricular achievements, the police initially dismiss his case as a non-emergency, leaving his distraught parents to search for him on their own. The passage of time offers no leads, and even a music video featuring missing children fails to provide any answers. Byron's disappearance remains unsolved, leaving his family with unanswered questions and a longing for resolution.
Kimberly Doss: Seeking a Runaway Teen
Kimberly Doss, a troubled 16-year-old, is involved in an argument with her boyfriend before disappearing. Though initially thought to be a runaway, Kimberly's family believes there is more to her disappearance. Limited information and sparse media coverage make it difficult to uncover the truth. The search leads to a possible sighting at a Greyhound bus station, but the lead goes cold. Over the years, Kimberly's case remains unresolved, leaving her family to wonder what happened to their beloved daughter.
Sean Betts: The Troubling Case of a Missing Young Boy
Sean Betts, an 11-year-old boy, suddenly goes missing after leaving a pizza joint. Authorities dismiss his disappearance as a runaway case, choosing not to take it seriously. Disturbingly, Sean's older brother, wrongfully targeted as a person of interest, endures a traumatic interrogation. Despite investigations and searches, Sean's whereabouts remain unknown. His family yearns for answers while grappling with the heart-wrenching uncertainty surrounding his disappearance.
Dwayne Fochman: The Vanishing of a Troubled Teen
Dwayne Fochman, a 15-year-old boy, disappears under mysterious circumstances. While authorities label him as a runaway, leaving few leads to explore, his family questions this conclusion. Despite their efforts and a potential sighting in Oklahoma reported by a friend, Dwayne's case goes cold. The lingering possibility of foul play adds to the anguish of his loved ones, as they continue to search for answers in his baffling disappearance.
Martha Dunn: A Troubled Teen's Journey Into the Unknown
Martha Dunn, a 15-year-old girl battling drug addiction and internal struggles, fights against returning home to her parents. When she goes missing alongside her boyfriend, theories emerge of a possible runaway attempt. However, strange phone calls and unverified accounts suggest darker possibilities, including abduction or foul play. Despite investigations and online speculation, Martha's fate and the truth behind her disappearance remain unknown, leaving her loved ones in a state of uncertainty.
Christopher Curs: The Enigma of a Mysterious Disappearance
Christopher Curs, a young man, vanishes without a trace, leaving no clue as to his whereabouts. His case garners little attention, and official databases do not include him as a missing person. The lack of information and media coverage adds to the mystery surrounding his disappearance. Christopher's family continues to search for answers in the hope of finding closure in this perplexing case.
Resurfacing of Sean's Case
After years of being cold, Sean's case gained renewed attention when a concerned citizen presented it at an upland city council meeting. The current police chief ordered a re-examination of the case, conducting interviews with potential witnesses. However, Sean's family felt uneasy after a meeting with the police, as they were asked more questions about Sean's family than the progress of the investigation.
Possible Connection to Jason's Case
Sean's family suspects that the pizza joint he frequented may be connected to his disappearance. Interestingly, another local case, the unsolved murder of Jason Matthew Lee, shares similarities with Sean's case, such as the involvement of teenage boys and connections to arcades. However, no official linkage has been made between the two cases. Sean's family continues to seek closure, urging anyone with information to come forward.
