Orm arrives, engages in combat with the dwarven figure, and tries to free Chetney from the net. Orm's attacks land and have some effect, but the figure manages to hold on to Chetney and pull him further into the alley.
Fern tries to persuade the figure to let Chetney go, but the figure remains hesitant. Fern then casts a spell to make Chetney and himself invisible, while Orm tries to look for his missing friend.
At the top of the Spire, there is a notable blackstone building with a symbol of a golden bird skull. It is clean and polished, standing out amongst the other buildings in the area.
Upon entering the Dusk Maven's temple, the group encounters a figure in dark robes with a sheer veil covering their face. The figure talks about faith, vulnerability, and the interconnectedness of all beings.
During a scrying attempt, a vision is revealed of a red sky, a black orb in the beam of energy, and structures in the distance. The blue-green Exandria appears in the sky.
The group discusses the importance of faith and the potential need to have faith in something, whether it be in the gods, in each other, or in the world itself. They reaffirm their dedication to stopping Ludinus and saving humanity.
Bells Hells settle into their reunion, comparing notes between experiences and dealing with the consequences of past actions...
