Having been a fellow sufferer herself, she truly understands the disorder. I felt that Ali intuitively knew when to push me through a fear and when to back off. When she felt that I was not ready for an exercise she told me. When she felt that I could push through a fear, she told me and 100% of the time, she was on point! It felt so good to have advice from someone who actually went through OCD and recovered themselves. Ali knew all the minute details about OCD impulses, about how relapses can happen, about how the theme can feel SO real and about how OCD can trick you into ruminating when you think you are not. Hi Ali, Its been really wonderful to interacting with you. I am really lucky and I am sure many of us are to have you as our coach. I was almost 10 yrs struggling from OCD, not able to do many things since last 3 4 yrs. After sessions with you I realised that OCD thoughts are not real and they are very much scary. Your you tube videos are very helpful. You only guided me to go through it, accept it, don't try to chase it and most important is its not you, it's your neighbour talking with you. Avoid thoughts and do ERP for whole day. That's the only way which everyone can do for his / her recovery. Thanks Ali for your precious time for all of us in this hard time.
