Mike Ott was rising the ranks at his hedge fund and enjoying life in New York City. Then, out of the blue, a freak accident left him paralyzed from the neck down. Despite the shock and the enormous challenges that he faced, Mike was able to formulate a treatment plan that has him walking, running, and living a full life in New York once again. On this week’s episode of FOMO Sapiens, Mike talks about what he learned from the experience of fighting for his health and finding creative solutions to rehab during a global pandemic. He also shares how the accident, and his recovery, have reshaped how he sees the world and his place within it.
