For over two decades, Elizabeth has owned La Bella e Famosa Spa, a highly successful facial- and body-contouring spa in the Nashville area. She has background in biology and chemistry that helped her to develop her own skincare line and cellulite reduction device. She also has training in nutrition, physical fitness, and cardiac rehab from the American College of Sports Medicine.
In 2010, Elizabeth’s son came down with a case of strep throat, after receiving antibiotics he seemed to be feeling better, but then his behavior became erratic. After consulting numerous doctors, specialists and undergoing multiple tests, Elizabeth’s son was diagnosed with Pediatric Autoimmune Neuropsychiatric Disorders Associated with Streptococcal Infections (PANDAS) and he was prescribed psychiatric medication and they were sent on their way. Her son got worse. He began having uncontrollable compulsions and ended up in a juvenile detention center. His psychiatric symptoms were replacing his physical symptoms and Elizabeth realized that her son’s immune system was misfiring. Around the same time, Elizabeth was diagnosed with complex regional pain syndrome, experienced hair loss, limb numbness and more. She discovered that both herself and her son were infected by a bacteria called Mycoplasma Pneumonia and was able to follow a treatment plan to finally solve their health issues. Today, Elizabeth uses her experience and her expert wellness team to help others.
