Dr. O'Sullivan developed and continues to refine the cognitive functional therapy model for treating low back pain. He shows how to effectively use exposure therapy for people with pain, and how to make sense of pain whether you're a practitioner or a patient. Dr. O'Sullivan is a professor of Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy at Curtin University in Perth, Australia. In addition to his teaching and research, he works in clinical practice as a physiotherapist. He is recognized internationally as a leading clinician, researcher, and educator in the management of complex musculoskeletal pain disorders.
