The Importance of Learning Together in Colleges

Colleges are meant to be a place where people come together to study and learn. The purpose is to learn better together than alone. However, the recent rise in radicalism on college campuses has resulted in a breakdown of civility and ordinary decency. Many individuals are afraid to speak out against the radicalism for fear of becoming targets themselves. This breakdown in communication prevents students from truly learning and understanding important topics such as rights, human nature, philosophy, political theory, and history.
