This weeks My Thoughts Monday is a bit of self reflection of some things that we have done this season based on a conversation with my sports medicine practitioner. This conversation revolved around how the time of year should dictate not just what we are doing in training but also how we are educating the athletes, and what battles we are willing to fight. So I wanted to break down how came to the conclusion that we need to periodize our education, and go from education to support, how we have done just that, and where I feel we have been successful with.
