Deep dives
Exploring the Crypt
As the podcast delved deeper into the crypt, the dim light leaking through narrow, dirt-covered windows illuminated the dark shapes of old barrels, rotting crates, and dilapidated furniture. The presence of a cat in the crypt added to the mystery. At the end of the crypt, a black archway led to stone steps, suggesting an upstairs area.
Discovering the Nave of the Church
Upon entering the nave of the church, the hosts observed that everything was covered in dust and cobwebs, including the pews, altar, and pulpit. Surprisingly, warm sunlight streamed in through the filthy windows, creating an eerie atmosphere. An unusual cross above the altar caught their attention and raised questions about the church's repurposing.
Uncovering a Mysterious Crystal
While exploring further, the hosts stumbled upon a small room behind the altar, filled with bookshelves containing old but not as old as the church books. Among them, they found peculiar volumes like 'The Vermis Mysterious' and 'The Book of Sia.' However, the most intriguing discovery was a dark crystal with red veins known as the Necronomicon. It was suspected that this crystal played a role in keeping the breach open.
