TW/CW: eating disorders (and the behaviors that they include), body dysmorphia, trauma, PTSD, childhood abuse, mental health & talk about specific disorders, personality disorders, diet culture, suicide, brief mention of sexual abuse
This week we have Meghan Watson, M.A RP (she/her) (@thrive_withmeg) to chat about eating disorders. This conversation is so incredibly educational and was so important for me to hear, as someone actively battling an eating disorder. We talk about types of eating disorders, misconceptions/myths surrounding EDs, treatment options, and how mental health interacts with EDs.
Meghan is an eating disorder therapist and the founder of @bloom_psychology. She is incredibly competent in this field, and it was such an honor to pick her mind and listen to her wisdom! If you want to find Meghan and follow her work, you can follow her @thrive_withmeg & @bloom_psychology on IG.
