Episode 7: Restaurant Man to Medicine Man with Michael Streda

Mike and I have lived parallel lives in many ways as we’re both hospitality veterans who left Canada for the jungles of Costa Rica. He’s the owner of the iconic Nosara restaurant Beach Dog, The Sacred Playground, and his all-vegan cafe Symbiosis.

His journey has taken him on some interesting twists and turns which has resulted in him opening several venues here in Nosara and also learning the process of serving sacred plant medicine along the way.

Mike opened The Sacred Playground as a location where people can feel safe to explore their deepest layers through dance, nature, and ceremonial gatherings.

His story is truly fascinating and his path is very inspiring for those that are in search of their purpose and looking to find their true calling.
