At the time of release, November 2023, Israel, Maor’s homeland, is at war with Hamas. Maor Tiyouri, a proud Israeli and Olympian living in Boulder, moved to the US to pursue her running dreams and is currently hoping to qualify for the 2024 Olympic Games. More than an athlete, Maor discusses balancing elite running with a job in communications, as well as the impact the Israel–Hamas war has had on her life and running.
