Deep dives
The Mysterious Door
A real estate agent recounts a bizarre experience during a routine property viewing where a previously nonexistent door appeared in a home. The agent describes the unsettling encounter with a tall, unidentifiable man who was there to view the house on behalf of its owners. Despite the normalcy of the house and the agent’s familiarity with its layout, the door left her shocked as she had walked through the space multiple times without noticing it. When pressed by the man about what lay beyond the door, she hesitated, feeling an impending sense of dread as she reached for the handle, ultimately discovering a strange corridor inside.
The Disturbing Corridor
Once inside the corridor, the agent found herself enveloped in a disorienting environment filled with mirrors and portraits depicting the corridor itself, which added to her panic. As she navigated the seemingly endless space, the wallpaper colors shifted unexpectedly, causing further confusion and despair. In the midst of her disarray, she encountered a thin, distorted figure moving towards her, reminiscent of someone not quite human, further amplifying her terror. Struggling to retain her sanity, she eventually lunged at a mirror, believing it might offer an escape from her nightmare.
The Consequences of Encountering the Unknown
After exiting the surreal corridor, the agent found herself in a different location far from the house, soaked from rain and in a state of shock. Struggling with the aftermath of her experience, including dehydration and mental distress, she was hospitalized briefly. Upon returning home, she refrained from opening any doors, haunted by recurring nightmares of her encounter. Later, she sought help to share her story, revealing the profound impact of confronting something beyond ordinary understanding and the lingering presence of the enigmatic man named Michael.
