10 - Meet Cervu, a Women's Health Early-Stage Venture from the MedTech Master's Program (Mini-Series Episode 3)
Abby Scheer, Alan Rosenbaum, MD, and Chandler Sizer comprise the Cervu team. Cervu is an early-stage venture developing an intervaginal device to help cancer survivors with dyspareunia perform pelvic floor physical therapy at home. The c-corp originally formed as a student team in the MedTech Innovation + Entrepreneurship M.S. Program at UNC and NC State. On this episode, listen to Abby, Alan, and Chandler talk about Cervu's mission, and how they have gone about identifying an unmet need, executing business and design conceptualization, and working with end users during design iteration. They also discuss how they have been supported along the way by the MedTech Innovation + Entrepreneurship Program.
