Tom Craine discusses 'The Impossible Job' (QK Reloaded)
In an effort to become podcasting's version of UK Gold, we're spinning it back and replaying the glory days of QK, every Tuesday and Thursday. This is: QK Reloaded. We'll be playing through our original episodes in release order. And this is...
QK legend Tom Craine reviewing an all-time great football documentary; The Impossible Job. This episode was first broadcast 18th April 2017.
-----
The Impossible Job is simply the greatest ever documentary about football (excluding Danny Baker’s Own Goals and Gaffs 2). A behind the scenes look at England’s failure to qualify for the 1994 World Cup it is heartbreaking, poignant and packed to the brim with Carlton Palmer. This week we sat down with comedian Tom Craine (writer of Josh and the excellent new BBC3 series Climaxed) to discuss what it was like to rewatch it 23 years on.
