Jonny McMurtry is originally from Northern Ireland and is now based permanently in Brisbane, Australia. He has been involved in numerous coaching roles since 2010, including junior club, colts, as well as Queensland and ARU age grade programmes such as the Junior Reds and Junior Gold. He is also heading up a study through the University of Queensland that looks at the needs of adolescent elite rugby players.
