This episode of the Simple Questions Podcast features a discussion with Thomas Becker over human rights. Thomas has helped with many different humanitarian efforts. From documenting war crimes (such as the use of cluster bombs on civilian areas) in Lebanon, Palestine, and Israel to investigating extrajudicial killings of the Adavais people in India.

Thomas has spent the majority of his time in Bolivia providing aid to the victims of "Black October". Having won a $10 million dollar civil suit against the Ex-President of Bolivia for his part in the military firing into a crowd of unarmed Bolivian citizens which resulted in the deaths of 67 and the maiming of 400 others.

Listen as Thomas shares his story and experiences from advocating for victims of human rights violations. Topics such as the types of human rights we all have, examples of human rights violations, and ways people can advocate for human rights. Thomas teaches us about our own rights and the injustices that take others' rights away.
