Conscious Parenting. Ushering Into Higher Consciousness. Learning From the Child.

In this episode, I’m joined by Maya Gohill as she shares her journey of becoming a mother to her son 13 years ago and navigating parenthood through different seasons thus far. We dive into the vast experience of parenting and how what is culturally imposed on us affects how we parent our own children. Many of us were raised by parents who were unconscious and now, it’s time to learn a better, more conscious way of raising our children.

Parenting from the heart vs parenting in the way our children need us to.
Conscious parenting is understanding that your child comes to this planet whole.
Children have authentic souls that don’t need to be fixed, that aren’t broken.
Following and attuning to the soul of a child and letting them be your biggest teacher to understand yourself.

The way we react to a child’s outburst or disobedience is a story in our mind rooted in fear and control placed on us in childhood.
Connecting to children on a deeper level allows us to understand our own egoic patterns.
Creating greater connection with our children and allowing them to be more liberated and authentic.

Attunement and connecting to your breath through meditation in conscious parenting.
Soul contracts between a child and their parents.

Connecting to the spirit and soul to become more authentic.
Eliminating expectations and judgments about life or people.

How parents unconsciously handle conflict and how to be more conscious of big feelings and help our children attune to them and understand them.
How our inner child impacts our parenting.
