Mr. Osterus: The Admirable but Unloving Christian

Mr. Osterus is an admirable Christian who is committed to living according to God's word. He holds firm to his principles and refuses to compromise, even in the face of societal influences and fads in the church. However, despite his admirable qualities, he lacks courtesy, love, and gentleness. Many find him proud, dogmatic, and self-important, which prevents them from developing intimate friendships with him. His virtue has become disconnected from the other graces crucial for a Christ-like life. Mr. Osterus needs to realize the importance of humility, love, and the gentle nature of Jesus, in order to attract others and truly resemble the Savior.
