He’s a four time World Surf Ironman Champion, six times Australian Surf Ironman Champion, and three times second. He also won the Uncle Toby's Super Series on four occasions. He was crowned a Member of the Order of Australia in 1996 for his services to surf lifesaving, and is a member of the Australian, Queensland, and Gold Coast Surf Lifesaving Halls of Fame.
