The sphere is described as two to three stories high, emitting bright lights. Their car follows the sphere, but then they witness a huge turtle-shell-like object in the sky, larger than a football field. Tom describes a surreal experience of silence, followed by loud noises and feeling transported to a strange place.
Melanie Kirchdorfer's Lake Mansfield Encounter
Melanie recalls seeing a huge bright light in the sky above Lake Mansfield on the same night as Tom Reed's encounter. The light, resembling a football field in size, emitted strange colors. She describes a moment of being taken away from the car, feeling immobile, and then finding herself in a room with children and teenagers. Melanie returns home after what she believes was a nine-hour absence.
