Being Vitalized for a Normal Christian Life and Service. In Hebrews 2:1, the apostle Paul admonished the Hebrew believers to “give heed more abundantly to the things which have been heard lest perhaps we drift away.” The Greek word for drift conveys both the meaning to leak or slip away, as well as to drift away with the current and become lost.
