SuperFlex SuperShow 67 - All Over But the Crying… and Ranking

We. Are. BACK!!!

Back from a month-long hiatus, the SuperShow shifts its primary focus to the dynasty superflex offseason. John and James start with reflections on the “game about the game,” with lessons learned in 2018; both of the guys focus on lineup-setting revelations, and John finally and begrudgingly concedes an important point on dynasty running backs.

Then, the guys talk through the process of updating their DynastyLeagueFootball.com Superflex/2QB rankings (check them out HERE) by identifying their top 5 at each position, and highlighting some of the bigger moves in their respective rankings – both risers and fallers. The great QB1 debate officially begins as Pat Mahomes takes over the top spot for one of the SuperFriends but not the other; meanwhile, an old familiar name sneaks into the QB1 conversation. The top 5 at the other three positions look very similar, but two teammates battle for the 5th spot in the wide receiver rankings, Alvin Kamara and Melvin Gordon square off for the final top 5 spot at running back, and George Kittle is the TE3 for both guys… with a big difference in their overall rankings!  Plus, the rise of Baker Mayfield, Nick Chubb, Amari Cooper, Phillip Lindsay, Austin Ekeler and Josh Allen, and the fall of Derek Carr, Case Keenum, Golden Tate, Allen Robinson, Blake Bortles and Devonta Freeman.

Finally, “The Brain” and “The Dude” get back to the 2018 season one more time with some Week 16 roster decisions in superflex: Goff or Allen? Henry or Gordon? Foles or Mariota? Jarvis Landry or Mike Williams? Thoughts on some of the toughest lineup decisions going into championship title fights around the superflex universe! All that and more in this week’s triumphant return and championship/offseason prep-isode!
