They discuss GIC Group’s new endeavor, the Commodities Plus Carbon, or CPC, which is a futures contract combining agricultural commodities with voluntary carbon markets, aiming to give farmers a premium on their crop yield.

Rick explains the details of the futures contract, why he believes it is an important innovation, and why right now is the best time do introduce the product. He also explains how they integrate carbon sequestration into the product and how they are measuring and verifying the carbon emissions.
