Why did I want the legendary Ryan Hall on The CLS Experience? This one’s simple. He’s one of the greatest US long distance runners of all time who holds an abundance of world records, and his book made a gigantic impact on my life personally, especially on my running journey. Without further ado
On today’s episode of The CLS Experience we have a very special treat. He’s a retired American long distance runner who holds an abundance of world records such as the half marathon with a blistering 59 minutes and 43 seconds where he became the first US runner to break the 1 hour barrier. He also holds the record in the full Marathon where he became the only American to run a sub 2:05 with a relentless 2:04:58. He’s considered by many to be one of the all time greatest American long distance runners. He retired in 2016 and has since reinvented himself completely transforming his body and goals. He’s a coach, mentor, and runs a tremendous training program called Run Free. He wrote one of my personal all time favorite books called “Run The Mile You're In '' which helped me not only begin running but conquering 4 marathons my first year in the sport. He’s a physical specimen, and extraordinary man of faith. He’s just a juggernaut in all facets of life and a phenomenal human being.
