Military coup led by Yevgeny Prigozhin against Vladimir Putin

Prigozhin, known for his role in the Russian war in Ukraine, criticized the Russian armed forces and defense minister for not supporting the Wagner group adequately. After gaining control over the city of Bachman, Prigozhin released a video denouncing the war in Ukraine and demanding the resignation of the defense minister and the chief of the Russian armed forces. The coup has resulted in Prigozhin gaining control over parts of Rassavandan, a crucial logistical hub for the Russian war effort in Ukraine.
